3rd Scenario

3rd Scenario

3rd Scenario brings together two of L.A.’s most talented jazz/funk/r&b visionaries. Singer/Writer/Guitarist Earl “Tee” Harris and Bassist Scott “Bugs”Allen, recently signed with Spectra Jazz and are anticipating the release of their debut CD “It’s About Time”. Their upcoming project remains one of the most anticipated new releases of Spectra Jazz. Produced by Earl “Tee” Harris and titled “It’s About Time”.

Earl “Tee” Harris, a Chicago native and Scott “Bugs” Allen, born in Baltimore, first performed together in a pop/R&B band with a sound comparable to Mint Condition. The pair later formed a classic jazz quartet that musically lent familiar flavors of the internationally known Sweet Back/Sade. Harris and Allen longed to experience more of a musical challenge. They teamed up for the creation of a fresh unique sound, a sound all their own. By infusing jazz, neo-soul and a hint of funk, this musical exploration began to capture both the name and story behindthe duo, “3rd Scenario”.

Earl “Tee” Harris

A world renowned guitarist, singer/songwriter and producer, Earl is known by his peers to be fluent in all genres of music. As leader of the funk/jazz band 3rd Scenario, the Chicago native commands the stage with his versatile guitar chops, reminiscent of such greats as Mike Stern, George Benson and Pat Metheny. While Earl’s voice offers a hint of George Duke, Donny Hathaway, and even George Benson, Harris has honed into his own unique sound. From the birth of 3rd Scenario, to the production of “It’s About Time”, Earl’s musicianship undoubtedly blazed new territory and clearly has broken uncharted ground with this musical work.
